About Saralee Fackelaman, MS, LMHC, CAP . . .

Saralee Fackelman is deeply committed to serving the needs of the LGBTQ community through specialized empowerment and counseling support. Ms. Fackelman is a licensed mental health therapist who has been practicing in the Tampa/St. Pete area for over twenty years. The daughter of a retired naval officer and native New Yorker, Sara was often the “new kid” in the class.  Her need to continually make new friends and to meet new people led her to reach out to others for relationship.  She has turned this wonderful experience into an ability to direct her life into a profession where she can continue to reach out and help people move towards their goals and a new future.

Ms. Fackelman is Board Certified in Gender Therapy and the creator of aTransLife Matters, a mission to provide counseling and support services to the Tricounty area’s transgender population.  She is also a Certified Addictions Professional and counsels in areas of substance and alcohol abuse, individual and couples counseling, elder abuse, anxiety and depression.  You are warmly invited to support her efforts to reach out even further into the LGBTQ community with her new radio show, There’s No Place Like Home.  Tune in every Wednesday afternoon at 2:00pm on GSH Radio/Rainbow 411 where fascinating LGBTQ topics and dynamics will be discussed.
